Mixed-age Cohort: Elementary, Middle, and High School
One hour weekly
During this hour we will do some simple warm-ups and engage in a variety of sensory explorations through movement, sound-making, exploring visual and tactile textures, and feeling our sense of safety in various parts of the space. Using non-interrogative engagement, students will be encouraged to acknowledge, understand, and celebrate their specialties, and learn tools for self-advocacy and co-advocacy. I’ve seen people of all ages really light up when their specialties are recognized and accepted in a shared space.
